Tramici restaurant catered our rehearsal dinner the night before our wedding, and we couldn’t have been happier with the planning process, the wonderful food, and the service. The event coordinator worked with us to create a great menu for 60+ guests that accommodated not only our budget but specific guest preferences (like our last minute request for a vegetarian lasagna!). The staff on hand the night of our event could not have been more professional, friendly, and helpful, and our guests just RAVED over our food. When hosting a wedding, expect the unexpected, and that is when working with someone such as Dave Snyder pays off. Not only is he a master chef and restaurateur, he is a first class human being. He takes pride in everything he does including community service, producing a first class event, and guaranteeing customer satisfaction.

Late in our planning schedule it became apparent that we would not be able to work with the new lease holder of our reception venue. Dave found a new site with a spectacular view of the Frederica River surrounded by everything that makes St. Simons such a special place. We planned a boat sendoff for the newlyweds and “Captain Dave” pulled that off too even with the challenges of Super Moon coastal flooding!

Our guests raved over his legendary Shrimp and Grits and a Filet Mignon that could be cut with a butter knife, not to mention the Southwestern Chicken that won our hearts when we first tasted it.

Dave Snyder’s knowledge of the Island and his ability to work with other merchants to provide accommodations, floral decoration, beverages and the minutiae necessary to make a special event memorable is invaluable.
